Come join us in supporting Surfrider Foundation on Leap Day for an Oceanfront Yoga Flow, Coastal Clean Up and Social hosted by Surfer the Bar!
Together we'll open our ocean hearts & minds with a vinyasa beach yoga flow, followed by a beach clean up, and social in Surfer the Bar with a free wellness shot from Fla. Juice & Bowl. They will also be selling juices and smoothies with a portion of the proceeds going to Surfrider Foundation. Surfer the Bar will also offer bottomless mimosa specials.
Bring your own yoga mats or towels! Namaste Surf Yogis!
Schedule of Events:
8:30 AM - 9 AM Check In (beach approach in front of Seawalk Pavillion & Surfer the Bar)
9 AM - 10 AM Beach Yoga Flow
10 AM - 11 AM Coastal Cleanup (Seawalk Pavillion & Pier Area Jax Beach)
11 AM - 1 PM Surfer the Bar Social with Fla. Juice & Bowl
What does my $15 Ticket include?
1 hour Vinyasa Yoga Class, Beach Clean Up supplies, entry to social in Surfer the Bar, and a free wellness shot from Fla Juice & Bowl.
100% of the proceeds of the tickets goes to Surfrider Foundation minus eventbrite processing fee.
Where do I park ?
Parking will be at the Jacksonville Beach lot directly in front of the Seawalk Pavilion and Surfer the Bar (200 1st St. North Jacksonville Beach). It is a pay parking lot.
Are there any age requirements for this event?
For the yoga portion of this event we ask that you're 15 or older. However, the beach clean up portion is open to all! The social is 18 and up and ID is required.
What should I wear to the event?
Yoga or workout attire is recommended. Yoga is practiced barefoot to better connect with our earth so we recommend wearing sandals. Shoes are required inside Surfer the Bar.
What time should I arrive to check in?
Please arrive no later than 8:30am for check in so we can get all yogi's settled in a timely manner. Flow begins at 9:00am. We prefer to save more time for yoga!
What if this is my first yoga class? Can I still attend?
YES! This event is open to all levels. We offer optional pose levels for our more beginner yogi's and our advanced yogi's. And of course our beach clean up is open to all ages and levels - the more the merrier!
How long is the clean up?
We will clean the area around the pier and Sea Walk Pavilion for 1 hour.
How long and when is the social?
The social is from 11am -1pm and will include free wellness shots inside Surfer the Bar.
