We’re holding an activist and volunteer training session at our October meeting this Wednesday, October 14th. We’re meeting at 7pm at Lynch’s Irish Pub. We will be joined by Surfrider Foundation’s Florida Regional Manager, Holly Parker, who will conduct our activist training session.

No experience necessary. Stop by to learn about what we do to protect our oceans, waves and beaches- and learn what you can do to help!

We’ll be joined by the owners of Saltwater Cowgirls will be speaking about their company and their awesome work with young women.  We will also be announcing our slate of officers to be elected upon at our October meeting and accepting nominations from the floor!  Lastly, we’ll be discussing chapter events like the beach cleanup this Saturday at 16th south from 7-9 am as part of the coastal cleanup, our upcoming Black Tie & Baggies to be held on 9/25,

June Chapter Meeting!

Join the First Coast Chapter for their June Chapter Meeting on Wednesday June 17 at the Neptune Beach Library at 7PM. We will be joined by guest speaker, Nadia Gordon, Marine Mammal Research Biologist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission who will speak about Manatees, Bottle Nose Dolphins and The Atlantic Right Whales and also how seismic testing could affect them. We will also be discussing ongoing chapter events and issues as well as what will be going on with International Surfing Day on the 20th. Our meetings are open to all- members and non-members alike, so bring a friend!
