A huge thank you to the 26 volunteers who helped clean Jax Beach on Halloween! The group included lots of students, a teacher from Neptune Beach Elementary School, as well as students from the Florida Coastal School of Law. The group picked up approximately 150 ponds of trash and separated out the plastics and cans for recycling. Special kudos to our costume contest winners!
We’ll be hosting two beach cleanups on International Surfing Day, one in Jacksonville and one in St. Augustine. Please note the different time for each (And feel free to come to both!).
